Documentation
This page summarizes the core principles of Inventaro.
Target audience
Inventaro is for small and growing businesses that currently work with spreadsheets, lists or isolated tools and want to organize stock, storage locations and manual warehouse processes more clearly.
Typical workflows include:
- stock control
- storage locations
- goods receipt
- transfers
- inventory
- simple picking
Openness
Your data belongs to you. You can download it at any time as an Excel or JSON export. After cancellation, export access remains available for 3 months.
The API is included from Core. API usage, exports and custom extensions are welcome as long as they support simple warehouse processes and usage remains fair.
Fair use
Inventaro is generously designed for normal operation in small and growing warehouses. API usage, exports and custom extensions are explicitly welcome. To keep Inventaro reliable for all customers, technical limits protect against accidental overload. If your usage permanently goes beyond that, we discuss a suitable solution together.
Boundaries
Inventaro is intended for simple, mostly manual warehouse processes. It does not provide material flow control, conveyor integration, PLC connectivity or automation control.
Inventaro is also not a replacement for complex ERP, WMS or production logistics systems.
